Here I am in mid July in Kaysville, Utah....What a grand place to spend the summer! So much has happened since my last blogging session, and I feel so behind in posting it all that I may never catch up totally. But I can give it a try. I have about two more months of blissful break from working routine before I need to fly back to Korea, and I have a long mental list of things to do for fun and fulfillment.
Most of all, I am in the same place with most of my family! Norm is here with me for another couple weeks, too, and then he has to return to Seoul for more work. But...we will see our son Daniel married to a delightful young lady named Jenn Rose, in the Salt Lake Temple in September, and will become grandparents this month, so there are great things going on this summer. Life is good. The sky is blue and clear. We saw fireworks and heard beautiful music again tonight at WSU. We spent a relaxing week in the farmlands and woods of Virginia, and celebrated July 4th there with our friends, and a long lost cousin Bill.
We had some happy and quiet days in Granada Hills with Dad. In May we met up with all our children for a fabulous trip to Japan, even though Eleanor was 7 months pregnant and Emily was on crutches from an injury. Most of our children came to Korea and stayed with us for a few days in May after the Japan excursion.
Norm was honorably released from the branch presidency service at church in Seoul after over 4 years of volunteer work as a leader. He deserves a break, and he is getting it! I have pictures to share, but no energy to post them tonight, so we have to be patient for those...next time around. Good night....
